Phew! It is much hotter than I expected for a late afternoon stroll. Even with our UV-protection hoodies on, I can feel the heat soaking through. Manila’s humidity is no joke. How are you holding up, Aiden?

[adjusts mask] It’s a bit stifling, Dad. I’m glad I have my sunglasses and face mask to block the dust, but the wind is so strong! The grit from the road is still trying to get into my eyes.

The noise is giving me a splitting headache. Between the sirens and the constant honking, I can’t even hear myself think! It’s just so humid/ˈhjuːmɪd/潮湿闷热的 and sticky.
